For Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art, The Common Guild present five new projects by Melbourne-based artists in collaboration with the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Melbourne.
Projects include:
An all-day noise performance by Marco Fusinato at SWG3 on Eastvale Place on 25th April;
A series of city-wide performances and actions by Bianca Hester throughout the duration of the Festival, culminating in a performance on the top floor of a city centre car park on 29th April;
An audio performance at Partickhill Lawn Bowling Club on Partickhill Road by Laresa Kosloff in collaboration with Andy Thomson on 27th April;
An all-day screening of David Rosetzky’s film ‘How to Feel’ at The Goethe Institut on Park Circus on 28th April;
A series of posters on Glasgow’s Subway system by Joshua Petherick, on view between 16th – 29th April.
Project Details
For Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art, The Common Guild presented five new projects by Melbourne-based artists in collaboration with the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA), Melbourne.
‘Melbourne in Glasgow’ was presented by The Common Guild as part of a major collaboration with ACCA, Melbourne for 2012 and 2014, coinciding with Glasgow’s hosting of the Commonwealth Games.
